Jacks Market Day

On Market Day I was a worker at Monster Feet. It was an awesome job. During my break time I got Icing Popcorn from the Popcorn business. Then, I got a pet rock. I called him Rocky. He smelled like dye and paint. Suddenly I spotted my friend and his dad. I also got a cool, amazing card from CC Cool Cards.
It was a really awesome day.

Market Day

Last Thursday was the Lytton Street School Market Day. There was heaps of food also stuff you can buy and there were drinks and heaps of people. I had heaps of money. I had twenty six dollars. It was so loud I couldn’t hear myself think! Suddenly, I saw a Carnival Land. I liked it so I played also I won. I got a Teddy Bear then I went inside.
Suddenly I saw a sherbet stand so I bought one big sherbet. After that the bell rang. RING!!! Then all of us went inside class.

Writing

This term we have been focusing on writing recounts. Here are some we have done.

MY FIRST MUSHABELLY
On Saturday I went to the Warehouse to get a Mushabelly.

I named him Yllebhsum. He is so cute. He was only $17.00. I love him.Every night I cuddle his body.

He is so fluffy,he keeps me warm at night and he is the best toy I’ve ever got.

Weekend Netball
In the weekend I did some packing and I helped my mum and dad. Also, I went to my nana’s house for the night. Then it was saturday and we had 2 games of netball to play. For our 1st game we played Manchester Street School and we won. The sore was 1 to 13. Our next game was against Colyton and we won,  2 -11. It was fun and I was captain for the 2 games and I got to play a full game. Then we went home with my poupou and uncle and I had some lunch and I had rolls. They were nice. Then on Sunday I stayed home and just played at home with my big brother and little brother and we played with my netball. We just played passing and then we went inside and got something to eat and I got a biscuit. I went outside to play passing with my brother Kaea. We had to run to get the ball because my little brother does little passing. That was my netball weekend.

At the beach
In the weekend I went to the beach with my friend Zac. He is ten.

While we were at the beach we had a swim and my mum came in. It was fun. My mum dived in the water.

I felt happy about my day at the beach and I went to bed early. I went to bed early because I had a busy day and I was sleepy.

Term 1

Kia Ora! Welcome to Room 19's blog. We use this blog in class to add to our learning. We will also be using it to inform others about what we are learning in class!

Our thoughts are with the people of Canterbury at this difficult time. Lytton Street school are doing our part to fundraise for Christchurch.  We are holding a red and black disco. Our choir members (and there are a lot in our class) are singing at the Clock Tower Friday the 4th of March in a Gold for Red and Black community event.

Keep posted about our learning!
